The second Project Result (PR2) is a Descriptive report of teachers’ needs and opinions on in-service training related to the four main areas of competence at the centre of teaching professionalism. The research team conducted focus groups in each of the five countries involved in the project. As a second step, a survey has been conducted at the transnational level, to a large sample of teachers and school managers: the structure of this is based on the analyses of the Focus groups and is related to the scientific literature, building on the good practices collected in the analytical report of PR1, to understand which organizational, methodological and content aspects are considered by teachers to be significant in in-service training, in relation to the impact on teaching-learning processes.
